McClung Park, located in the heart of Jefferson City, has a long history of hosting family and community activities over the decades. This existing enclosed pavilion and event center received much-needed improvements that included new finishes, lighting, flooring, casework, exterior patio, and various modifications to make the spaces more accessible and desirable for hosting events.

The Architects Alliance involvement began with preliminary design, site feasibility related to parking, sidewalk pedestrian access points, and design iterations for a new exterior gathering and entertainment space. The interior renovations were done to bring a brighter, more inviting feel while accenting architectural details like the structural trusses. Enhanced support spaces include the serving kitchen and upgraded restroom facilities. The addition of the elevated outdoor terrace provides additional seating and allows guests to enjoy the outdoors while having a direct line of sight and access to the adjacent playground.
