This new facility was constructed with redundant systems to achieve a concurrently maintainable status. The building includes a secure exterior vestibule, staff work room, restroom, data room, interior equipment room, and exterior equipment well. Exterior finishes complement the existing Office Building with ACM panels and masonry veneer wainscot. Interior finishes are consistent with typical dust-free data center construction with consideration for sound attenuation and static dissipation within the new data center space. The center was designed and constructed with security features and resiliency in mind. Examples include: enhanced waterproofing and moisture mitigation at the exterior envelope and slab, security system and access control, dual site electrical feeds, redundant mechanical and electrical systems with backup generator, water detection and leak monitoring system for interior spaces. The hardened structure is capable of withstanding and maintaining operation during natural disasters. All outdoor mechanical and electrical equipment is enclosed in a depressed mechanical area with protected openings.
